The meeting started with a demonstration of the Nano-Oil™ Technology by Christian StClaire.

Tribo Demonstration

The demonstration was performed by using a Tribo Machine with a sample of the Mobil 1 oil taken from the car’s crank case and tested using Timken hardness racers and pin bearings.

Mobil 1 performed very well with a result of 40 foot pounds of direct pressure at a 90 degree angle. The amperage from the Tribo Machine went from 2 amps idling to 15 amps and stalled, which concluded the test of the synthetic Mobil 1 10w30 Engine Oil. The pin bearing was heavily scored.

Nano-Oil™ by StClaire was added to the part already scored and was run, finishing with a 65 foot pound result.

Afterwards, the test pin bearing was exchanged for a brand new one and the test was repeated with only Nano-Oil™. The result was over 110 foot pounds with minimal scoring.

This test was conducted only to bring the audience up to speed and visually demonstrate the possibilities of using Nano-Oil™ in racing and every day use in automobiles.

Dynamometer Tests

In preparation for the Dynamometer testing of Nano-Oil™, 5 Takes were performed as a baseline before adding anything to the vehicle.

The protocol was to add Nano-Oil™ to only the engine crankcase and run 4 Takes, then add Nano-Oil™ to the manual gear box and run another 4 Takes. The results would be compared against the baseline results.

The complete data analysis was performed by the officials from Mitsubishi with the observers present.

Phase One – Crankcase Only

First Phase consisting of 4 Dynamometer Takes with 8 ounces (237 cc/ml) of Nano-Oil™ in only the crank case after 5 baseline tests without.

Phase One – Take One

    1) Torque at the flywheel increased dramatically from 215 to 220.57 horse power at 4200 RPM and was also consistent at lower RPM
    2) Horse Power also increased dramatically from 199 to 206.9 at 6300 RPM and was also consistent at lower RPM
    3) Turbo Pressure dropped by 1.52 psi from the consistent baseline
    4) Temperature dropped 2.7 degrees from the consistent baseline

Phase One – Take Two

    1) Torque slightly increased further and was also consistent at lower RPM
    2) Horse Power slightly increased further and was also consistent at lower RPM
    3) Turbo Pressure produced same amount as Take One’s results
    4) Temperature remained stable at Take One’s results

All four parameters were consistent with Take Two

First Phase Concluded and Conclusive: Nano-Oil™ by StClaire made a tremendous improvement.

Phase Two – Crankcase and Gearbox

For Phase Two, 2 ounces (59 cc/ml) of Nano-Oil™ was added to the Manual Gearbox containing 3.5 quarts (3.31 liters).

Nano-Oil™ was now in the Engine and the Gearbox that serves the middle transfer to the Rear Differential, which is independent of the oil reservoir in the front.

Phase Two – Take One

    1) Torque Increased again and was consistent at lower RPM
    2) Horse Power increased again for a stabilization at 211 Horse Power between 6200 & 6600 RPM and was consistent at lower RPM
    3) Turbo Pressure stable at Phase One’s results
    4) Temperature stable at Phase One’s results

At his point, Nano-Oil™ has produced an overall gain of 12 Horse Power over the baselines

Phase Two – Take Two

    1) Torque Increased again
    2) Horse Power Increased again
    3) Turbo Pressure stable at Phase One’s results
    4) Temperature stable at Phase One’s results

Phase Two – Take Three

All four parameters stabilized and remained consistent with Take Two

The feel of the stick shift became substantially smoother throughout all gears.

Second Phase Concluded and Conclusive: Nano-Oil™ by StClaire made a tremendous improvement by treating the Manual Gearbox, and took only minutes for the parts to be conditioned to attain these improvements.
